In an effort to assist the
customers we are trying to divert from the TANF program, a local resource sheet
was created to give to the customers. As
we are trying to divert them from TANF, we need to assist the customers by
helping them explore the resources that may be available to them. Many
customers may not know of the services in their community or local area that
may be able to assist them in their time of need. By taking a few moments to
assess why they are applying for TANF in the first place, we may find we can
help them by making them aware of assistance in other agencies.
