County Specific OFI Program Collective Brochure

There are so many different types of outreach materials available that clients are likely to become confused about which program is right for them. In order to streamline the distribution of information, I have developed a brochure using Microsoft Publisher. If you would like a copy of the brochure, email me at jagibbs@dhr.state.ga.us. This brochure is county-specific in that the county Department of Family and Children Services name is placed on the front along with local telephone numbers, fax numbers and email addresses. The back of the brochure lists the DFCS County Director, OFI Supervisor(s) and the Community Resource Specialist. Using the county’s school colors (Ben Hill: Purple and Gold) is another way to make it interesting.

Inside the brochure is an informational section for each of OFI’s programs, such as the Food Stamp Program, Medicaid (different types), TANF and Childcare (CAPS). There is also a section with some qualifying information listed; however, it is abbreviated and not all-inclusive.

I left one section blank to that I could attach “Food Stamps Make America Stronger” refrigerator magnets. I did this using either paper clips or a drop of hot glue. The brochures are placed at the reception desk in Ben Hill County for distribution to inquiring clients/applicants.
