In
an effort to track the number of the foodstamp applications we have received
through the outreach program, the Berrien/Clinch CRS created a sheet for the
screener to use to record the applications received through outreach. This
sheet lists the customer’s name, foodstamp case number, and the date the application
was received. It also has a place to put the month so that we can measure the
number of people we are reaching outside the DFCS office each month. Region 11 CRS’s agreed to put a sticker,
label or some identifying feature on the outside of the application marked
“foodstamp outreach” to determine how many applications are being received by
the county office. This sheet may also help for future outreach reports.
